Temperature Instructions

Following are instructions on how to pull data from IFBM's Temperature monitors and prepare for printing.

1. Right Click LINK and Open in New Tab
2. Click the Temperature Monitor you need data from
3. Set the Start and Finish dates for the data you need
4. Click Update, then Export. (If Downloaded file shows Excel Icon, Click it, Insert a new Column A, and skip to 8)
5. Create a new Excel Sheet
6. Select cell A1
7. Import data from Text (Under Data)
   1. Select the .csv file downloaded earlier from your Downloads folder, it is named data.txt
   2. Make sure the Delimited circle button is selected and click Next
   3. In the Delimiters Box, Uncheck Tab, and Check Comma and Space, Click Finish and then Click OK
8. Your data should be in the sheet. Right Click Column A and Insert a new column. In the new Column A, copy the following formula: =MOD(ROW(),24)
9. Use the AutoFill Handle (at the bottom right corner of the selected cell) and drag A1 to the last row of the data. This should AutoFill 0-23 through the entire dataset.
10. Press Ctrl A to select all the data and Click Filter (Under Data) Little Arrows should pop up in the first row of each column
11. Click the little arrow in Cell A1, Uncheck Select All, Check 0, and Click OK
12. Now you should see only data for every two hours, if so, continue to the Insert tab and go to Header & Footer
13. The top should be split in to three sections:
    Left Header: 
    Temperature Report (˚F)
    Middle Header: 
    Probe: [Copy and Paste the label from the data website above]
    Right Header:

14. Then along the bottom:
    Left Footer:
    Page &[Page]
    Right Footer:
    &[Date]
15. Right Click the C Label for Column C, Click Format Cells, select Number, and set it to two decimal places.
16. Finally, right click the A label for Column A and Hide the column then you're ready print it from Excel for the books
